For this flatbread pizza I’m using Asparagus and some caramelized onions to create a sweet and savory combination. I love making 4 – 5 different flatbread pizzas for party’s – even letting guest assemble and bake off their own. It’s a great way to get friends involved in cooking dinner, and with a bit of wine flowing, it turns into a ton of fun.

I love making pizzas at home. With a few simple tricks, they are easy to make, and the choice of toppings are nearly endless, making it easy to catere to everyone’s tastes, and even the changing seasons. Here, I show you how to make a sun dried tomato and goat cheese pizza.
Bacon and onions just go together really well. So why not on pizza? Making pizza’s at home is always a hit with my family. Partly because, everyone gets to choose their own toppings. For this pizza, I when with a combination of freshly sautéed bacon and green onions, or scallions.
This Burrata Crostini is a quick and easy recipe that I frequently turn to when I’m hosing a party. Crostini, is just a fancy word for toasted bread. The great thing is, that there are tons of things that taste great on top of good toasted bread! For this recipe we top the crostini with some Burrata cheese, which is a type of mozzerlla that is more creamy and very mild tasting.
We all think of Pesto as the green pasta sauce, made with basil, pine nuts, parmesan cheese, etc…but over the past several years, I’ve come to think of pesto as a technique as much as a specific recipe. If a pesto is simply a pureed, generally uncooked, pasta sauce…well, then you can make all kinds of pestos. And one of my favorites is walnut pesto.
Alfredo sauce is as simple as it is delicious. I mean cream and cheese…how you can go wrong? I keep this alfredo sauce recipe to just a few ingredients, but it’s actually a very easy sauce to modify with things like garlic, shallots, herbs, or other vegetables. And it has a ton of uses.
One way to jazz up a boring chicken breast is with a great sauce, which is exactly what I do with this Chicken Alfredo. Goat Cheese is awesome just on it’s own. Imagine how great it is breaded and fried? That’s exactly what I’ll show you how to do in this recipe for a Warm Goat Cheese salad. The goat cheese is definitely the star of this salad, and brings enough body to the dish to make it a pretty substantial lunch, or starter course.
Potato Dauphinious is not an easy word to say…but it’s a damn tasty recipe to eat. I love to make them as a side dish for steak dinners, but they’ll go just as well with roast chicken, pork or even fish. Classically, potato dauphinious is a baked dish, where layered slices of potatoes, are baked along with some cream, and sometimes cheese.
Homemade pizza’s have become a favorite of mine. They are easy to make and the diversiy of ingredients you can use, means that you can please just about anyone’s tastes. For this recipe, I show you how to make what I’m calling my “Chunky Tomato Pizza”. It’s a take on a standard margarita pizza, but instead of a smooth tomato sauce, I keep large chunks of diced tomato in the sauce.
