Culinary Schools in Toledo Ohio

Toledo, known locally as T-Town, has been known for its quirky culinary delicacies: the best hot dogs around, salt-rising bread, and homemade noodles not to mention chili. But it’s not all pub food. It’s 1,500 restaurants for its population of nearly 300,000 means you’ll find something to satisfy you, be that gastro pubs fueled by new craft brewers, waterfront dining on the banks of the Maumee River, mom and pop diners, or a New York strip steak at iconic Mancy’s Steakhouse, whom Esquire Magazine called “one of the Top 40 steak houses in the nation.” Graduates of Toledo culinary schools can create their own iterations of these recipes with local ingredients, or setting a completely new culinary course for T-town. There are three degree and certificate programs in culinary offered by Toledo's culinary schools. According to BLS data restaurant cooks can anticipate $22,000 annually; food preparation and service workers: about $19,000; first line supervisors can earn $27,000; and cafeteria and institution cooks can make $24,000 annually.
