It’s 1,500 restaurants for its population of nearly 300,000 means you’ll find something to satisfy you, be that gastro pubs fueled by new craft brewers, waterfront dining on the banks of the Maumee River, mom and pop diners, or a New York strip steak at iconic Mancy’s Steakhouse, whom Esquire Magazine called “one of the Top 40 steak houses in the nation.” Graduates of Toledo culinary schools can create their own iterations of these recipes with local ingredients, or setting a completely new culinary course for T-town.
