How to Dice Celery

Chopping celery, and just about all prep work is pretty boring. And the longer it takes, the worse it is. So why not learn the right techniques that will enable to get through the job that much faster? Here, I show you how to do just that. It's actually a pretty simple technique and not really any different than chopping a lot of vegetables and other ingredients. It's important to learn if you want to be a better cook. Knowing how to chop celery, a super common ingredient, will not only make you faster in the kitchen, but it will also enable to cook better meals. You'll become more consistent, with each piece of celery of similar size and shape. That helps to ensure each of the pieces cook the same, and taste the same...rather than having very large and very small pieces. Hope you find this technique useful.

How to Chop Celery

 1. Celery is very simple to chop and most of the work is already done for you
 2. First, chop the stalks in half, so they are easier to work with
 3. If you're looking for smaller dice, now chop the celery stalks in half, or in thirds the long way
 4. Because celery is not perfectly round it's pretty easy to find a flat/stable side; so place that most stable side face down on the cutting board
 5. Now grip the knife in your dominant hand, and keeping the tip on the cutting board at all times, rock the knife down to make your first dice
 6. Your other hand should be in a "claw" grip with the finger tips curled under the palm and out of the way. Use this hand to guide the knifes movement down the celery stalk with each cut, making the dice with every cut

Hope you find this technique useful!

Hmm. I guess your definition of fine dice is different from mine. I slice lengthwise as thin as I can (5-8) pieces and the results are not thin enough for what I want. A mandolin does much better but cuts less than half before the grip doesn't grip. I end up doing the rest by hand anyway. Any idea how to do a fine dice instead?

Are you saying that it's because you can't use tricks to show anyone what you really don't have?

An outstanding share! I have just forwarded this onto a co-worker who was doing a little homework on this. And he actually bought me dinner simply because I discovered it for him… lol. So let me reword this. 카지노 보증 업체 제이나인 제이나인 먹튀 없는 사이트 사설 먹튀 검증 제이나인 제이나인 검증 카지노 마닐라 카지노 제이나인

I know your expertise on this. I must say we should have an online discussion on this. Writing only comments will close the discussion straight away! And will restrict the benefits from this information. Backlinks
