If the clothes make the man; perhaps the sauce makes the steak. A perfectly cooked steak is great on it's own, but the perfect steak sauce really does bring it to a whole new level. And we have got Steak Sauces! Learn how to make the classic peppercorn & cognac sauce. Compound butter sauces, with rosemary, thyme, chives, etc. The easiest steak sauces to make tend to be pan sauces; just a bit of booze, deglazed in the pan you cook the steak in, some stock, reduced down...finished with a healthy knob of butter. Of course we have some fancy steak sauces like bernaise, or hollandaise if that's your taste. Whether you like Filet, New York, Ribeye, Skirt, Flank, Sirloin, or any other cut out there, we've got the steak sauce for you. Enjoy!

    Filet Mignon with Tarragon Butter

    There’s come controversy whether the Filet Mignon is the “king of steaks” or not.  It’s certainly among the priciest cuts, and the most tender, but critics says that with that tender texture, comes a loss of flavor.  I say I understand both points of view; I’d also say that having to choose a favorite cut, is like asking a mom to choose a favorite child….so, why not love them all.
